Is the platform really free?
Yes. Static QR code generation is free and unlimited, without watermark — you just create a free account. Dynamic QR codes (same QR, with an editable destination link and scan analytics) are available on the Starter and Pro plans.
Do QR codes expire?
No. Static QR codes do not expire, as the content is encoded directly into the code itself. They keep working indefinitely, independent of any server.
Can I add my company logo to the QR code?
Yes. You can upload your logo in PNG, JPG or SVG format, and it will be placed at the center of the QR code. Error correction is automatically adjusted to ensure reliable scanning.
What is the maximum scan distance?
The distance depends on the printed size of the QR code. On an A4 page with a 5 cm QR, scanning works up to 60 cm. For larger media such as 1 m banners, scanning works up to 10 m. We recommend printing the QR with at least 2 cm per side.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR?
A static QR has the content encoded directly in the code and cannot be changed after generation. A dynamic QR points to a short link you can edit anytime, letting you change the destination without reprinting and track analytics for every scan. We offer both: static for free and dynamic on the Starter and Pro plans.
